This weekend, some of our team members participited in the Atlanta Mission's 5K To End Homelessness. The city of Atlanta is home to over 7,000 homeless men, women, and children who face the perilous conditions of winter without a roof over their heads. Each race registration will provide a night of shelter for someone who would otherwise be sleeping in the cold. Our firm thought the race was a great opportunity to give back to the Atlanta community. The Atlanta Mission is a community organization that provides meals, bed nights, and employment assistance to hundreds of homeless men, women, and children in the Atlanta area.
The race, which was planned for 8:30 AM on Saturday morning, was well-attended.
Over 3000 runners took part in the race, collectively raising over $200,000
for homeless men, women, and children.
Team Kaufman Law has pledged to participate in at least one community service event each month to reaffirm our commitment to the greater Atlanta community. Click here to read more about Kaufman Law's Community Involvement Pledge.
